Guitar Hero: World Tour has added three of Epitaph Records' most important bands in a new track pack. The set, available now on XBOX360 and PS3, features NOFX's "Linoleum" from Punk In Drublic, Rancid's "Ruby Soho" from ... Justin Broadrick (Jesu) and Aaron Turner (Isis) form Greymachine

Justin Broadrick of Jesu and Aaron Turner of Isis have formed a new side project titled Greymachine. The band is rounded out by Dave Cochrane and Diarmuid Dalton. The band have completed a record titled Disconnected and is due out August 4, 2009

Travis Morrison (Dismemberment Plan, Hellfighters) retires from music

Veteran musician Travis Morrison has retired from music. Morrison was the frontman of DC art-punks Dismemberment Plan and also released solo material under the name Travis Morrison Hellfighters. He posted his retirement announcement to his official website saying:

As Tall As Lions: "Circles"

As Tall as Lions have posted a new song and set a release date for their forthcoming album. The record is titled You Can't Take It With You and is due out August 18, 2009. It is the follow-up to Into the Flood which was released in 2007.

Sakes Alive!! recording "Act II" (Episode 2)

Brian Fallon: "Hallelujah (Leonard Cohen)"

Brian Fallon of The Gaslight Anthem recently visited The Sun to record a cover of the Leonard Cohen classic, "Hallelujah." Brian's performance appears also influenced by the late Jeff Buckley's celebrated recording of the song.
